The Zika virus was discovered more than 70 years ago, but it did not trigger a small-scale outbreak until 2007. This rare virus has recently hit Brazil, the Americas and South Africa. In 1947, a human was found in a monkeys in Uganda. The virus can be transmitted to the human body through bites of Aedes mosquitoes, and has similar routes of transmission to dengue fever and Kikunounya fever. In 2007, the first outbreak of the Pacific Islands in the Federated States of Micronesia, the Pacific Island State, infected 75% of the boat people. The outbreak of the outbreak in French Polynesia took place again in 2013, with the Zika virus very similar to the endemic South Pacific. 2014 Rio de Janeiro
