1996年12月4日至6日,国家档案局在武汉召开全国档案外事工作会暨中外档案比较研讨会,各省(自治区、直辖市)、计划单列市、中央、国家机关的档案部门负责人和专家学者共60多人就改革开放以来的档案外事工作进行了总结回顾,讨论明确了九五期间档案外事工作的任务。会议同时就中外档案工作管理体制、立法、馆库建设、档案管理与利用等进行了比较研究,提出了一些新观点。
From December 4 to December 6, 1996, the State Archives Bureau held the National Archives and Foreign Affairs Work Conference and the Comparative Archives between China and Foreign Countries in Wuhan. The archives department heads and experts of provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and cities under separate state planning and state agencies A total of more than 60 scholars conducted a review of the archives and foreign affairs work since the reform and opening up and discussed and clarified the tasks of archives and foreign affairs work during the period of the Ninth Five-Year Plan. At the same time, the conference made a comparative study on the file management system, legislation, library construction, archives management and utilization at home and abroad, and put forward some new ideas.
