阳春三月,江边河谷地区已是杨柳吐绿、油菜花开的季节。而在中甸高原依然寒风凛冽,一片冰雪世界。3月初,李珪厅长带领省林业厅有关处室的负责同志,离开春城昆明,来到全省海拔最高的迪庆藏族自治州首府中甸县城,实地考察该县的森林旅游资源。今年初,中甸县林业局根据当地大部分风景名胜景点分布在林区的特点,在全面勘察境内旅游景点的基础上,写出了林业局开办森林旅游业的报告,并作了初步规划。李桂厅长听了中甸县林业局局长肖鲁茸的汇报后,认为林业部门利用自己的优势开办旅游业,发展第三产业,目前在全省还为数不多,当场表示给予支持。为了掌握第一手资料,使旅游规划更加切合实际,李珪厅长决定亲自到实地考察。

After hearing the report from Xiao Lu Velong, director of Zhongdian Forestry Bureau, Minister Li Gui thought that the forestry department should take advantage of its own advantages to start the tourism industry and develop the tertiary industry. At present, there are only a few in the province, and they expressed their support on the spot. In order to master the first-hand information to make tourism planning more realistic, Director Li Xun decided to personally visit the site.
