In order to strengthen the construction of the Air Force hospital under the joint logistics support system in the new era, and further promote the service for the military and enhance the air force’s medical support, the Ministry of Health held an Air Force hospital at the 458th Hospital of Guangzhou People’s Liberation Army in early November 1999 seminar. Attendance of the meeting include the PLA Air Force logistics and health director and hospital chiefs. Minister Chen Yiqin of the Ministry of Health, Air Force later summed up the work carried out since the Ninth Five-Year Plan of the Air Force Hospital, carefully analyzed the situation and problems it faces and put forward the direction for the construction and development of the air force hospital in the coming period.
