ESP是高职英语教学改革的发展方向,高职英语教师向ESP教师方向转型将成为必然,而教师发展的质量是决定ESP教学发展的关键。中国的ESP教学尚处于起步阶段,对中国ESP教师的现状进行探究具有现实意义。本文在ESP相关理论的基础上,提出ESP教师的专业发展途径,旨在提高ESP教学质量,促进ESP与高职英语教学的真正融合。
ESP is the direction of the development of higher vocational English teaching reform, vocational English teachers to ESP teachers will become the inevitable transition, and the quality of teacher development is the key to determine the development of ESP teaching. ESP teaching in China is still in its infancy, it is of practical significance to explore the current situation of ESP teachers in China. Based on the related theories of ESP, this paper puts forward the professional development path of ESP teachers, aims to improve ESP teaching quality and promote the real integration of ESP and English teaching in higher vocational colleges.
