In March 1992, Jack Russ was walking his dog at Garfield Park in Washington, DC. Two men quietly followed him from behind, held his gun at his throat and forced him to hand over his wallet and watch. Rasch immediately obeyed obeyingly to save his life, but the robber did not let it go, but thrust the gun into his mouth and pulled the trigger and fled.
