江泽民总书记在庆祝中国共产党成立80周年大会上的讲话中指出:“我们建设有中国特色社会主义的各项事业,我们进行的一切工作,既要着眼于人民现实的物质文化生活需要,同时又要着眼于人民素质的提高,也就是要努力促进人的全面发展”。这是马克思主义关于建设社会主义新社会的根本要求。如何理解江总书记《讲话》的深刻内涵,对我们加紧人才开发和做好各项工作,具有深远的指导意义。
