Since September 2014, the Ministry of Transport and other 10 ministries and commissions jointly issued the Guiding Opinion on Promoting the Transformation and Upgrading of Automobile Maintenance Industry and Improving the Service Quality (JHF [2014] No. 186). In 2015, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Environment Protection And other 7 ministries and commissions jointly promulgated the “Administrative Measures on the Open Implementation of Technical Information on Vehicle Maintenance,” and amended the “Regulations on the Administration of Motor Vehicle Maintenance” promulgated in 2005. These normative documents and departmental rules also dealt with one issue, namely, vehicle maintenance information.
