早元古代星子群遭受吕梁期以低角闪岩相为主的区域动力热流变质作用，变质温度约为５３０－６００℃，压力约为４００－５７０ＭＰａ。根据岩石组合及岩石地球化学特征．推测该群形成于大陆边缘环境。
