Shougang Institute of Geological Prospecting was founded in 1953, and was awarded the title of “National Merit of Geological Prospecting” by the State Council in 1991. In 2007, it was awarded the title of “Advanced Collective of National Geological Prospecting Industry” by the Ministry of Land and Resources. Among the 286 staff in the hospital, there are 143 employees with college degrees or above.
