据资料记载,棉铃虫对磷元素具有忌避产卵的习性。根据这一习性,1975年我们与供销部门一起,于棉铃虫第三、四代发生期间进行了大面积棉叶喷过磷酸钙驱避棉铃虫产卵的效果试验。喷磷面积共12,873亩,占公社棉田总面积的63.9%。据多点调查的百株卵量的结果,在第三代棉铃虫发生期,喷磷区(4,383亩)均在防治标准(百株卵量10粒)以下,而对照区(未喷磷,15,717亩)有55.5%的面积达到防治标准;在第四代棉铃虫发生期,喷磷区(8,490亩)达到防治标准的面积占59.1%,而对照区(11,610亩)
According to data records, the bollworm has the habit of repellent to spawning on phosphorus element.
