《古画留真》是1916年来远公司向弗利尔推出的一本中国古代绘画图录。其背后的推手,是20世纪上半叶海外最大的中国古董商卢芹斋。《古画留真》的推出,实质上是一次中国传统文化向西方的传播。本文将对《古画留真》相关问题进行探讨,试图掀开1916年中国古代绘画外流的一段历史,揭示《古画留真》的价值。
“Ancient paintings stay innocent” is a book of ancient Chinese paintings introduced to Freel in 1916. The driving force behind it is Lu Qinzhai, the largest Chinese antique dealer abroad in the first half of the 20th century. The introduction of “old paintings” is essentially a transmission of Chinese traditional culture to the West. This article will discuss the related issues of “ancient paintings”, attempting to open a period of history of the outflow of ancient Chinese paintings in 1916 and reveal the value of “ancient paintings stay for real”.
