进行该彩色电视信号编码传输实验时,使用了试作的彩色电视DPCM编码终端装置。这个装置是把NTSC彩电信号直接进行频带压缩,用PCM三次群(32.064Mb/S)传输的。由这个实验证实了可以得到良好的编码图象质量,并且充分满足数字传输暂行标准。另外,传输线路引起的图象信号抖动或信号瞬时中断对图象质量几乎没有影响。关于传输线路的误码,从主观评价实验结果来看,即使误码率为10~(-7),对图象质量的影响也很少。这次传输实验证明,在图象传输业务中,这个装置可适用于NTSC制彩色电视信号的数字传输。
