灶心土为久经柴草熏烧的土灶中心的焦土块,别名灶中黄土,又名伏龙肝。其味辛,性微温,入脾胃经。具有温中止血、止呕、止泻的作用。然而随着人口城市化,临床运用灶心土的医者越来越少了,即使运用,城市药店也难得此药,配伍困难,而在乡下由于煤的普遍运用真正经柴草熏烧的灶心土也不多见。有的因其不卫生或应用不方便而贬其不用,使这样一味脾胃良药不能发挥其应有的作用。笔者近20余年用灶心土治疗多种疾病,体会到有它药所无法媲美的功效。其不仅仅是一味止吐圣药,还具有温中化湿,涩肠止泻,温胃散寒,和中止呕、温阳化饮、消痰止咳、燥湿运脾、收敛止带、温中止血、健脾和胃等多种功效,不仅可用于虚寒证,也可用于热证,现总结如下,以求抛砖引玉。
