发现能力是大学生必要的、变未知为已知的学习活动。在大学英语中提倡学生用发现的方法去学习也是一种能力,是较低层次上的创造能力,是创造出具有社会价值第一成果的能力的基础。这就要求我们教师全新认识用发现的方法去学习的必要性与重要性,并在课堂教学中帮助、指导及培养学生的发现能力。
The ability to discover is necessary for undergraduates and becomes unknown as a learning activity. It is also an ability to promote students’ learning through discovery in college English. It is a creative ability at a lower level and a basis for creating the ability to have the first result of social value. This requires our teachers to recognize a new understanding of the necessity and importance of learning by means of discovery and to help, guide and develop students’ discovery abilities in classroom teaching.
