年前,《广西文学》编辑部邀请全国省级文学期刊负责人聚会广西崇左县,研讨省级文学期刊的生存与发展。与会者认真学习了党的十四届六中全会的精神,回顾了省级文学期刊在过去的年代为繁荣我国的文学艺术所起的历史性作用,同时也指出了在社会转型期,省级文学期刊因办刊经费紧缺所面临的严峻的生存问题,共同呼吁各级政府加大对文学期刊的经费投入、促进省级文学期刊的发展。参加在崇左县举办的全国省级文学期刊生存与发展研讨会的,有来自全国各地的省级文学期刊的主编、副主编三十余家。大家一致认为,在商品大潮冲击下,加上快餐文化的挑战,省级文学期刊读者减少,发行量下降,办刊经费紧缺。由于各刊社的负责人都为经费找出路所累,影响了办刊质量,这对文学艺术的繁荣,对社会主义精神文明建设,都是不利的。
Years ago, the editorial department of “Guangxi Literature” invited the chiefs of provincial literary journals to gather in Chongzuo County, Guangxi Province to study the survival and development of provincial-level literary journals. Participants earnestly studied the spirit of the 6th Plenary Session of the 14th Central Committee of the Party, reviewed the historic role played by provincial literary journals in the past years in the prosperity of our literature and art, and also pointed out that in the period of social transformation, Literary journals, facing the serious problems of survival due to the shortage of funds for running a journal, jointly called on all levels of government to increase funding for literary journals and promote the development of provincial literary journals. More than 30 chief editors and associate chief editors of provincial literary journals from all over China participated in the symposium on the survival and development of the national provincial literary periodicals held in Chongzuo County. We all agreed that with the impact of the tide of commodities and the challenge of fast food culture, the readership of provincial literary journals has been reduced, the circulation has dropped, and the running expenses have become scarce. As the heads of newspapers and periodicals all find ways out for funding, affecting the quality of their work, which is unfavorable to the prosperity of literature and art and the construction of socialist spiritual civilization.
