投影寻踪回归技术是一种新兴的EDA多元回归计算方法。本文通过对石河子总场土地自然属性与棉花产量的PPR回归分析，建立产量预测模型，较成功地预测了土地生产力，并以产量为鉴定指标对评价单元进行了棉花土地适宜性等级划分，对PPR技术的应用进行了探讨。
Projection pursuit regression technique is a new EDA multiple regression method.
