人类社会的发展史,大致是按照石器时代、铜器时代、铁器时代、电器(气)时代……的顺序构成的,这一理论最先由丹麦的汤姆逊提出,经过他的学生沃尔赛完善后,成为了西方文化学的“经典理论”,然而,这一“经典理论”却并非放之四海而皆准。随着我国考古工作的不断深入,使得诸多专家们不得不面临一个事实:在中国的原始社会,有着无比灿烂的玉雕艺术和玉器文明,它们以北方的红山文化、南方的良渚文化和中原的龙山文化为代表,构成了一个环东南沿海的月牙带。大量的物质遗存足以证明玉器在当时已成为时代的主流,不但渗透到当时的各个领域而且存世
