作为新世纪伊始的一项软科学大工程,我以为这套在许多方面具有独创性的丛书的出版将为国家决策提供参考、并能促进区域经济的发展,提升中心城市的地位。同时,为国家西部大开发战略的实施、东西部协调发展贡献力量。为继珠江三角洲经济区、长江三角洲经济区和环渤海经济区之后,华中经济区成为我国第四个经济快速发展区和新的经济增长极起到积极作用。
As a soft science project at the beginning of the new century, I think this series of books that are ingenious in many aspects will provide reference for national decision-making and promote the development of regional economy and enhance the status of central cities. At the same time, it contributed to the coordinated development of the eastern and western regions for the implementation of the strategy of developing the western part of the country. Following the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone, the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone and the Bohai Economic Zone, the Central China Economic Zone has played a positive role in becoming China’s fourth rapid economic development zone and a new economic growth pole.
