70年代后期,随着改革开放的不断深入发展,沉寂已久的书法艺术也如枯木逢春,呈现出一派生机勃勃的繁荣景象。全国各层面的群众对传统艺术所表现出来的热情之高,当首推书法了。之所以出现这种可喜的局面,显然要充分肯定中国书法家协会和各级书协举办的各种书展的促进作用。 到目前为止,由中国书法家协会主办的展览中,共有七届全国书法篆刻展,四届书法新人展,三届全国楹联书法展,还有扇面书法展、临书展等等,几乎每年都有全国性的展事。 新时期是中国书法艺术发展最为活跃的历史阶段。从学龄前的幼童到耆耋老人、干部学者、士工农商,纷纷执笔挥毫;各类书法
