Electronic Military Thesauri Application Management System(EMT)is a new searching language tool with multifunction and high intellectuality,which is developed for computers and networks on the basis of the traditional Military Thesauri.This paper details the system’s development background and guideline,main features,data analysis and design,and main technical innovations.It also provides some theoretical thinking on the development trend of thesauri.
