山杜鹃亦称映山红,是观花、叶,观根、千面面俱佳的树种。是制作盆景的优良树材之一。我们地处恩施山区,山杜鹃漫山红遍,资源十分丰富。这为培育山杜鹃盆景提供了有利条件。但制作山杜鹃盆景并非易事。因要找到干径5厘米粗老桩的确不易,形态奇特的古桩就更难了。在养桩过程中,稍有不慎,便会事倍功半。笔者从事山杜鹃盆景培育已多年,现将自己的经验介绍如下,供同行探讨。
Rhododendron also known as azalea, is the concept of flowers, leaves, roots view, thousands of noodles delicious tree species. It’s one of the best trees to make bonsai. We are located in Enshi Mountain, Mountain Rhododendron popular everywhere, the resources are very rich. This provides a favorable condition for cultivating the mountain rhododendron bonsai. But making Rhododendron bonsai is not easy. In order to find a diameter of 5 cm thick old pile is indeed not easy, strange shape of the ancient pile even more difficult. In the pile raising process, a little careless, will be more effective. I have been engaged in cultivation of Rhododendron bonsai for many years now introduce their own experience is as follows for peer discussion.
