为了防止脑膜脑的粘连,从1890年起就有人应用硬膜代用品来修补硬膜缺损.历史上曾应用过金箔、橡胶制品等.1958年Campbell等首次应用人类冻干硬膜作为硬膜代用品.近年来广泛应用的硬膜代用品之一是人类尸体冻干硬脑膜.作者通过文献复习,动物实验和临床应用,认为用此材料修补硬膜缺损很少出现并发症,是良好的硬膜代用品.作者以六只狒狒做试验.大脑半球突面开颅后将硬脑膜剪除一部分,以后用人类尸体冻干硬脑膜修补并逐层关颅.一年之后处死动物取材行病理检查.显微镜检查发现脑皮层、软脑膜和硬脑膜之间无粘连.冻干硬膜镜下检查显示硬膜成胶质结构的纤维母细胞浸润.在纤维母细胞浸润明显的区域有血管形成.偶然有淋巴细胞堆集.在冻干硬膜内突出表现为已有骨形成并偶见成骨细胞的骨化现象.在缝线区域伴有多核圆形细胞和异物巨细胞的异物反应.薄膜偶见轻度的淋巴细胞和多核细胞浸润.皮层和白质无甚变化.作者在1968-1978年间应用冻干硬脑膜修补硬
