衡阳冶金机械厂是直属国家有色金属工业局的国家大一类机械制造厂,以前主要服务于有色、冶金行业。１９９６年,了解到山西平朔煤炭公司属下的安太堡矿使用的进口牙轮钻机需要更新,于是他们决定成立强有力的经营班子去开拓这一“处女地”。安太堡煤矿是１９８５年由中美合资兴建
Hengyang Metallurgical Machinery Factory is a state-owned large-scale machinery manufacturing plant directly under the National Non-ferrous Metals Industry Bureau. It previously served mainly in the non-ferrous metals and metallurgical industries. In 1996, it was learned that imported rotary rigs used in the Antaibao Mine under the Shanxi Pingyi Coal Company needed to be renewed, so they decided to establish a strong management team to develop this “virgin land”.
