TWABecomestheLaunchingCustomerofPW6000 On December 9, 1998, GlobalAir selected the PW6000 engine for its fleet of 100 to 120 A318 passenger aircraft and became the first airline user of the PW6000. Global Airlines will have 50 A318 aircraft, of which 38 will be purchased directly and 12 will be leased from international lease financing companies. International lease financing company recently announced 30 A318 aircraft.
