本文通过对照试验,研究了缅甸麻风高发地区儿童接种BCG预防麻风的效果。从麻风发病率高、并未接种过BCG的人群中挑选0~14岁没有麻风体征的儿童为研究对象,分为BCG组和对照组。每个儿童均皮内注射2个结核菌素单位的PPD RT23,2~4天后观察反应。BCG组儿童在三角肌区皮内注射0.1ml冻干BCG。BCG来自英国Glaxo实验室,批号为F20J和F53H,设前者为Ⅰ组,后者为Ⅱ组,两组均设对照组。对照组儿童均不注射安慰剂。通过测量接种浪痕大小,并在接种后8—10周重复结核菌素试验,来估价BCG接种反应,每年随访收集病例。麻风病例确诊主要通过检查全部皮肤表面、疑似皮损感觉试验(包括组肢试验),周围神经触诊、检查麻痹、畸形和溃疡等临床症状,并在患者的适当部位及疑似皮损处
In this study, we investigated the effect of BCG vaccination against leprosy in children with high levels of leprosy in Burma through controlled trials. From the children with high incidence of leprosy who did not receive BCG, children aged 0-14 years without leprosy were selected as study subjects and divided into BCG group and control group. Each child was intradermally injected with 2 tuberculin units of PPD RT23, 2 ~ 4 days after the reaction was observed. Children in the BCG group received intradermal injection of 0.1 ml of lyophilized BCG in the deltoid area. BCG from the United Kingdom Glaxo laboratory, batch number F20J and F53H, the former for the group Ⅰ, the latter for the group Ⅱ, the two groups were set control group. Control children were not given placebo. The BCG vaccination response was assessed by measuring the size of the inoculum and repeating the tuberculin test 8-10 weeks after inoculation and the cases were followed up each year. The diagnosis of leprosy cases mainly through the examination of all skin surface, suspected skin lesions sensation test (including group limb test), peripheral nerve palpation, paralysis, deformities and ulcers and other clinical symptoms, and in patients with the appropriate parts and suspected lesions
