作为海峡隧道铁路连接线二期工程的一部分,十台盾构将于伦敦东部开始施工39km长的隧道。 作为二期工程的组成部分,总长39km的三条隧道即将开始掘进,第二条为伦敦隧道,它分为两段,分别位于Kings Cross铁路线地块(此地块位于St Pancras和Kings Cross车站之间)和伦敦东部的Stratford之间,及Stratford和Dagenham之间;第一条隧道位于泰晤土河下,连接West Thurrock和Swanscombe ;第三条隧道为泰晤士河连接线2000隧道,它位于Kings Cross铁路线地块下方。
As part of the second phase of the Strait Tunnel railway link, ten shields will begin construction of a 39 km long tunnel in eastern London. As part of the second phase of the project, three tunnels of 39km in length are about to be started. The second is the London Tunnel, which is divided into two sections, each on the Kings Cross railway block (at Block St Pancras and Kings Cross) Between Stratford in East London and Stratford and Dagenham; the first tunnel under the River Thames, connecting West Thurrock and Swanscombe; the third tunnel being the Thames Cable Tunnel 2000, located on Kings Cross Railway Below the line block.
