瓦房店客车厂,是城建部客车专业定点生产厂,也是中国城市客车城建设备联营公司和解放汽车工业联营公司成员厂。1969年开始生产客车,现在又制出了一组 WKA 系列城市公共汽车。其中有:WK133A 型、WK143A 型城市公共汽车、WK173A、WK373A型铰接式城市公共汽车和 WK333A 型、WK343A 型团体客车。并于去年12月全部通过了部级鉴定。该厂占地总面积4.4万m~2,建筑总面积2万m~2。职工1.6千余人,其中工程技术人员34人,工人平均等级为三级,有10个科室,5个车间。1.冲压车间:面积1.8千 m~2,计划在“七五”规划期间扩建成5千 m~2,达到年产3千台城市客车的能力。2.车身车间:面积3.8千 m~2,计划在“七五”期间扩大为6.2千 m~2,负责各类城市客车
Wafangdian Bus Depot is a designated production plant for the Ministry of Construction and Urban Passenger Vehicle and a consortium affiliated to China Urban Bus Urban Construction Equipment and a member of Jiefang Automotive Industry Associates. 1969 began producing buses, and now made a series of WKA series city bus.
