构建和谐的警民关系,是党的群众路线对公安工作的本质要求,是新形势下维护社会稳定工作的根本保证。构建和谐警民关系,公安机关和公安民警居于矛盾的主要方面,要通过做人民群众心目中的好人、亲人、能人发挥主体作用。
Building a harmonious relationship between the police and the masses is the essential requirement of the party’s mass line for public security work and is the fundamental guarantee for maintaining social stability in the new situation. Constructing a harmonious relationship between the police and the people, the public security organs and police officers and men living in the main areas of contradictions should play a dominant role through being good people, relatives and capable people in the minds of the people.
