杉木是我国特有的优良用材树种,也是优良的造纸原料。但这种优良木材目前发生严重的供不应求现象。所以,营造杉木速生丰产林是解决我国木材短缺的重要手段。据华南地区各省及那坡县的实践经验,只要进行集约经营,采取科学的栽培方法,营造的杉木林可以在10～12年内达到中小径材标准进入主伐期。兹将营造杉木速生丰产林应注意的问题分述如下: 一、造林地的选择人工林能否速生丰产取决于三个条件:
