在安徽省泾县的桃花潭镇有一座被誉为“中华第一祠”的古祠——翟氏宗祠“病”了,而且已入“膏肓”:柱朽、梁断、瓦碎,其惨状触目惊心。 翟民宗祠系明嘉靖己未进士翟震川创建。宗祠原铭“昼锦堂“,后被明万历皇帝御赐为“忠孝堂”。宗祠建筑,分前后三进,数十根两围粗红木柱擎天;白花岗岩雕柱伟岸,雕梁画栋精美,石刻图案绝伦,曾有一百多块名匾悬挂其中……宗祠“建筑艺术殿堂”的恢宏,被中国文物学会常务副会长、高级古建筑专家罗哲文赞誉为“中华第一祠”,并联同五位专家呼吁将其列入“国保”。 翟氏宗祠经数百年风雨侵蚀、人为的磨难,已摇摇欲坠,当地政府杯水车薪,无力对如此宏大的建筑进行维修,只好“关闭性”被动保护。宗祠无论是建筑艺术价值、人文历史价值,还是作为旅游资源,都是极其珍贵的,呼吁有关方面尽早抢救、保护,别把遗憾留给明天。
