今年秋天,郑州果树研究所召开了西瓜根结线虫病防治效果现场会。参加会议的有省林业厅、省科委、省农科院、河南农大、省情报所、郑州市科委、农科所、郑州郊区科委等单位的专家20多人;中国农业科学院植保所植病线虫专家陈品三同志应邀参加会议。会上先现场参观郑州果树所对西瓜、西红柿防治现场。经挖掘植根,凡是用D—D混剂经土壤处理防治根结线虫的西瓜、西红柿,根须细长而多,发育正常,茎叶旺盛,果实累累;凡未防治的西瓜、西红柿根须粗而有结,茎叶萎黄,有的不结果,有的枯死。据试验一般减产30％,个别严重地块绝收。会上还听了植物线虫病害专家陈品三同志作的《植物线虫病害及其研究进展》的报
