词汇的教学是初中英语教学的基础。进行词汇教学的方法有很多种,本文重点论述了通过语境的方式来教授学生词汇。本文在论述这一方法时首先介绍了国内外学者对于“语境”和“词汇”这两个基本术语的阐释。然后论述了语境理论在实际的词汇教学之中的作用和优点,最后讨论了教师如何在教学的过程中运用语境理论来教授词汇。
Vocabulary teaching is the basis of junior high school English teaching. There are many ways to do vocabulary teaching. This article focuses on teaching students vocabulary through context. In this paper, the author firstly introduces the explanation of the two basic terms “context ” and “lexical ” by domestic and foreign scholars. Then it discusses the role and advantages of context theory in practical vocabulary teaching. Finally, it discusses how teachers use context theory to teach vocabulary in the teaching process.
