2002年10月,北京人民大会堂前,“迎接环保英雄”的横幅在风中浮动——福特汽车环境保护奖的颁奖活动正在这里举行。福特环保奖,或许你也和我一样是第一次听说,但对国内环保界人士来说,它是一个年度的盛会。这次获奖的项目是“上海崇明东滩滩涂·海三棱(?)草带·鸟类生态位推移情况及湿地保护”调查,它的科研带头人刘文曼,那时刚离开大学,步入社会还不足3个半月。去过可可西里,到过玉树,大学刚刚毕业不久,却已经做了近八年环保调查工作——这就是刘文曼。
