1930年,父亲率领梅剧团访美演出,带去了齐如山先生事先主编的几种宣传品,诸如《中国剧之组织》、《梅兰芳》、《梅兰芳歌曲谱》、《剧目说明书》以及两百多幅戏剧图案等,这些资料均由当时的名家梁杜乾、周景福、陈福田、孙子明、贺渭南诸位先生译成了英文。后来,梅剧团到了美国,旧金山有一位叫欧内斯特·K·莫(Ernest K·Moy)的先生又编纂了一本题为《梅兰芳太平洋沿岸演出》
In 1930, my father led the Mei Opera Troupe to visit the United States and brought several publicity materials pre-edited by Mr. Qi Rushan, such as “Organization of Chinese Opera,” “Mei Lanfang,” “Mei Lanfang Songs,” “Repertory Instruction ”As well as more than two hundred dramas and the like. These materials were translated into English by the then famous Liang Dougan, Zhou Jingfu, Chen Futian, Sun Ziming, and He Weinan. Later, the Mei Opera Troupe came to the United States. In San Francisco, a man named Ernest K Moy compiled a book titled “Mei Lanfang Pacific Coast Performance”
