加强教师队伍的建设是搞好历史教学改革的关键。这是须通过多种途径多种形式进行的。我在这里着重就现有教师队伍的建设提一点意见,有些也是我们区里的一些做法。第一、首先要从“三个面向”的战略高度提高认识,认识改革的重要性和迫切性。目前,教学改革已提上议事日程,教师必须统一认识。自从恢复高考以来,衡量学校质量高低的标准,一般都看升学率,学校的社会信誉一般也从升学率来。如果教改也围着升学率转,初中历史可以打入“冷宫”,高中也只要少数准备报考文科的学生能掌握并运用历史基础知识应付考试就行了。怎么谈得上教改呢?必须认识改革是培养新时期的四个现代化建设一代新人的需要,是迎接新的技术革命挑战的需要。是要全面的不失时机地加紧进行的。
