1949年10月1日新中国成立后,敬爱的周恩来总理主持国务院工作27年。在日理万机的繁忙工作中,周总理对北京高等教育给予了热情的支持和关怀。据不完全统计,在27年中,周总理到高校视察15次,为高校师生作报告、开座谈会14次,接见高校师生(不含文革期间)40余次。至今,当我们想起这些往事时,仍沉浸在幸福的回忆中。
After the founding of New China on October 1, 1949, the beloved Premier Zhou Enlai presided over the work of the State Council for 27 years. In the busy work of daily management, Premier Chou gave enthusiastic support and care to Beijing’s higher education. According to incomplete statistics, during 27 years, Premier Chou visited universities for 15 inspections, made reports for teachers and students in colleges and universities, held a forum for 14 times and interviewed more than 40 teachers and students of colleges and universities (excluding the Cultural Revolution). So far, when we think of these past events, still immersed in the memories of happiness.
