侨居美国洛杉矶的中国画家杨隆生先生,是中国画坛上德高望重的老将,在海内外享有盛誉。近几年来,他曾两次回到祖国大陆访问,跑遍了十几个省份。他曾赴台湾省台北市美术馆参加中国现代美术国际学术研讨会;他还赴法国,在巴黎华侨文教服务中心举办个人画展,并获得成功。他的中国画作品,既有中国传统的笔法,又吸收了西方绘画色彩的长处。融东西方艺术于一体,使其笔下的河山更加壮丽,花鸟水虫、奔马、猛虎更加栩栩如生。尤其是他善在作品中题诗,真可谓画中有诗,诗中有画,具有了更高的品位。杨隆生先生原籍广东省大埔县人,侨居新加坡,自幼嗜好艺术,承庭训返国学习中华文化,以聪慧之资,精勤研习,早年作品木刻版画,曾选送英、美、法、苏、印度等国展出,颇受艺坛重视。他作为金石书画大师齐白石先生入门弟子,颇受赏识。抗日战争期间,杨先生在抗日部队
