交际能力应是包括语言、语用及语言策略在内的一种综合能力。虽然目前在涉及现代远程教育的高校中,对成人英语交际能力的考查采用的是选择题形式,但交际用语的教学不应受考核形式的局限。教师应从形式、功能、语用及跨文化几个角度同时入手,对会话进行功能归类,强调形式和功能的结合,并介绍各类功能背后的语用原则及文化差异。
Communication skills should include language, pragmatics and language strategies, including a comprehensive ability. Although in colleges and universities involving modern distance education, the test of communicative competence of adult English adopts the multiple choice form, but the teaching of communicative language should not be limited by the form of examination. Teachers should start from the perspectives of form, function, pragmatics and cross-culture at the same time. They should classify conversations, emphasize the combination of forms and functions, and introduce the pragmatic principles and cultural differences behind various functions.
