目的观察姜黄素对人翼状胬肉成纤维细胞血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)表达的影响。方法分离培养翼状胬肉成纤维细胞,用MTT法检测姜黄素对其细胞活性的作用,酶联免疫吸附试验(ELISA)法检测上清液中VEGF的表达水平。结果姜黄素能抑制翼状胬肉成纤维细胞的生长,并且有效的抑制其分泌VEGF的水平。姜黄素作用组与对照组上清液VEGF水平差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。结论姜黄素抗VEGF的药理活性,很可能在翼状胬肉发病及发展的关键环节起到了重要的抑制作用。
Objective To observe the effect of curcumin on the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in human pterygium fibroblasts. Methods The pterygium fibroblasts were isolated and cultured. The effect of curcumin on the cell viability was detected by MTT assay. The expression of VEGF in the supernatant was detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results Curcumin inhibited the growth of pterygium fibroblasts and effectively inhibited the secretion of VEGF. There was a significant difference in VEGF levels between the curcumin group and the control group (P <0.01). Conclusion The pharmacological activity of curcumin against VEGF is likely to play an important role in the pathogenesis and development of pterygium.
