The Cuban revolutionary experience proves one of the major conclusions of Marxism: In fostering new people, the transformation of the social environment is of decisive significance. Our history once again proves that there is a dialectical unity between changes in social conditions and human changes. Of great importance to the education of youth in the life of any society, including socialism, and in the historical evolution of man itself, are the nature of family relations and the perceptions of man about the relationship. Our country has inherited many phenomena of human consciousness and behavior in the family sphere from the past of its capitalist system and these phenomena should be gradually eliminated because they are not in conformity with the requirements of the socialist society
