从表面上来看,史学的黄金时代持续到第一次世界大战。各大学都相当重视历史学科,历史研究方法也渗透到其它各门学科中,而基本上仍然完整的传统至少有助于促进人们具有初步的历史观念。
On the surface, the golden age of history lasted until the First World War. All universities place considerable emphasis on history and the methods of historical research permeate all other disciplines, while largely still intact traditions at least contribute to promoting people's initial conceptions of history.
