牧草是发展畜牧业的物质基础,获得大量而稳定的饲草饲料,除合理地利用农作物秸秆外,实行草田轮作,建立人工草地是扩大饲草来源的重要途径之一。为了给河套地区人工种草、建立人工草地选择出高产、优质、适应性强的牧草品种,1983~1985年我们在巴盟农牧学校教学试验地共引种国内外优良牧草品种24个,并连续三年观察了生长情况、结实性、适应性等,现将结果简要报告如下。一、试验地概况试验地位于临河市张家庙巴盟农牧学校试验地内,该地沙质土壤,肥力低下,地下水埋深1~1.5米左右,有灌溉条件,但无排水设施。年均温6.4℃,最热月日均温22.8℃,最冷月日均温-12.6℃,极端最高温36.5℃,

In order to planted the grass in Hetao area and establish the artificial grassland to select the forage varieties with high yield, high quality and adaptability, from 1983 to 1985, we cultivated 24 domestic and foreign excellent pasture varieties in the teaching experiment of the Bameng Agriculture and Animal Husbandry School, Three years of observation of growth, firmness, adaptability, etc., the results are briefly reported as follows.
