目前，一些媒体在人才的培养和使用方面存在着重采编业务轻管理技术、重个别突进轻全员培训、重“文笔优美”轻复合知识、重实际操作轻理论研究的倾向。 考虑到时代的发展与特征、媒体的作用与发展规律，我们对人才的内涵与外延要做出与时俱进的深化与扩充，人才的培养目标要从整体着眼。①从新闻事业的总体来认识什么是当今时代需要的新闻人才；②重视全员培训，在整体提高的基础上形成骨干队伍；③使新闻工作者掌握正确反映社会、反映时代的知识与能力；④注重对新闻传播理论的学习和研究。
