As a new branch of the social sciences and humanities, the study of the combination of religion and ecology aims at highlighting the aboriginal ecology. By focusing on the ecological concept of the Tibetan belief system, this article attempts to explain the complicated and reciprocal relationship between human communities, gods, Buddhism and religious landscapes (especially the mountains). As a dialogue with other related academic works, this article puts forward two views: First, the ecological value of Tibetan holy places is not always transcendent, but exists in the world of emotions, nature, and spiritual practitioners, ordinary people, local gods And the natural landscape; the other view is that rituals have a tangible ecological effect and play an instrumental role in maintaining the balance of their living environment for local Tibetans.
