南京紫金山天文台保存的大型古代天文仪器中,有一座明朝遗留下来的结构精致的测天古仪浑仪。我国古代的天文观测仪器,在世界天文学发展史上占有重要地位。明制浑仪是世界上现存的重要古代测天仪器之一,是十分宝贵的科学遗产。 明初,定都南京应天府,元大都所有宋元天文仪器全都南运。洪武十八年(1385年)在南京鸡鸣山设立观象台,南运仪器安装台上进行观测。随后,洪武二十四年(1391年)又曾铸过浑天仪一座。 明永乐七年(1409年),迁都京师顺天府,即北京。
In the large-scale ancient astronomical instruments preserved by Nanjing Purple Mountain Observatory, there is an elaborate celestial apparatus measured by the Ming Dynasty. The ancient astronomical observation equipment in our country occupies an important position in the history of world astronomy.
