宋初近百年,春暖花开时节,宫内苑中有赏花钓鱼赋诗之乐。帝赐诗示群臣属和或赐韵应制,臣诗呈上御览品第优劣,优者可得赏赐。其引以为荣的程度,比夺袍赐花差不了多少。 宋太宗有次赏花钓鱼,群臣“中”字为韵应制。姚铉才思敏捷,首成一律,颔颈二联是:“花枝冷溅昭阳雨,钓线斜牵太液风。绮萼惹衣朱槛近,锦鳞随手玉波空。”
