尊敬的各位领导、先生们、女士们、同学们: 今年是先父萧友梅逝世60周年,当我得悉国内音乐界要为他举行纪念音乐会,心情十分激动。更高兴的是,音乐会是由尊敬的李副总理岚清阁下建议而举办。在此,我不仅站在个人的立场,更站在中国音乐文化副业发展的立场,向中国政府和李副总理阁下,致以最高的敬意和衷心的感谢。向纪念音乐会的主办单位、协办单位,向今天出席音乐会的所有朋友们,表示感谢。
Dear leaders, gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen, This year is the 60th anniversary of the death of my father Xiao Youmei. When I learned that the domestic music industry is going to hold a commemorative concert for him, I feel very excited. It is even more gratifying that the concert was organized by the Honorable Lv Qing Deputy Prime Minister Li Lan. Here, I stand not only in my personal position but also in the position of sideline development of music and culture in China. I extend my highest respect and heartfelt thanks to the Chinese government and His Excellency Vice Premier Li. I would like to thank all the organizers, co-organizers who attended the concert, and all the friends who attended the concert today.
