村干部是党在农村的力量基石,是党和政府紧密联系群众的纽带和桥梁。这支队伍能否稳定,关系重大。现状最近,我们对江苏泰兴市张桥镇的焦荡、褚陈等9个村的村干部队伍状况进行了调查。结果表明,农村税费改革和行政村合并后,村级组织运转状况基本正常,但也存在村干部队伍不稳定现象。2001年5月行政村合并时,这9个村共有126名村干部。到目前为止,自动离职的27人,占21%;人心不稳即将离职的17人,
The village cadres are the cornerstone of the party’s strength in the countryside and the link and bridge between the party and the government in close contact with the masses.
