浙江义乌是一个林业小县,全市林地面积仅86万亩,林业产业基础比较薄弱。但近几年来,义乌充分发挥市场、物流、会展等方面得天独厚的优势,积极举办森博会,为本市林业增效、林农增收开辟了新途径,也为推动全国林业产业转型升级发挥了积极的作用。今年5月下旬,国家林业局同意把第二届中国国际林业产业博览会放在义乌举办,与第四届中国义乌国际森林产品博览会并期举行,这将是中国林业产业界的一件盛事,对推进我国林业产业的现代化、国际化进程将起到积极的作用。
